I’m a showrunner (executive producer) with over a decade of experience leading ensemble cast shows, follow-doc series, competition reality, and multi-camera productions. I typically oversee budgets ranging from $3 to $8 million and manage multi-episode series from pre-production through post. I love driving the creative vision, nurturing talent and network (or client) relationships, collaborating with field crews and post teams, and generally being the glue that keeps it all together.
Before I found my calling in television, I had a completely different career—working for Scandinavian Airlines System. I started in reservations, moved into sales and marketing, and eventually joined their expansion initiative into the Baltics, Eastern Europe, and the former Soviet Union. I traveled extensively, developing regional marketing strategies and racking up enough frequent flyer miles to circle the globe.

Then I did what any reasonable person would do after a stable corporate career: I quit. I enrolled at the French Culinary Institute in New York City with dreams of becoming America’s next top chef. That was the plan, anyway. I graduated with a Certificat d’Aptitude Professionnelle (CAP) and landed my first job in a posh Upper East Side kitchen. Six weeks later, I was sautéed, flambéed, and nearly flambé’d out.

What next? I took my bruised and went to Europe. I cooked briefly in Paris, then Norway, where I realized—somewhere along the icy shores of a fjord—that maybe the recipe for a fulfilling career involved fewer kitchen burns and more storytelling. I returned to the U.S., talked my way back into Scandinavian Airlines (again!), and then, in true TV fashion, everything changed in a hotel bar. I struck up a conversation with a woman sitting next to me. I asked what she did. She said, “I work in television.” Cue the music. Roll credits. That was the beginning of my next act.
